"Ohhh, my gosh, what did he do, yank poor Morgana's tail? Yikes... W-well, don't worry, Senpai. We'll find him, I promise." Making promises like that was a bit dangerous, of course, especially since she couldn't guarantee Morgana's safety. But for all she'd known him, Morgana was such a smart cat. He'd always listen to what she had to say, and he'd purr up a storm when she was upset. Even though she wasn't his human, she still felt like Morgana was a good friend to her, and he deserved that much respect for being such a good boy.
As they spoke, her eyes remained vigilant, her gaze sweeping across the park with full seriousness. On the way out from the train, she had stopped by a convenience store she often went to and bought a can of wet cat food. The cats in the pet shelter she worked at always made a fuss whenever she had it in her hands, knowing it was time to eat, and they flocked around her so much it was hard to even take one more step without accidentally hurting one of them. If the cats at her shelter liked it that much, she hoped Morgana would, too. Perhaps the combined familiar smell of Kurusu, herself, and the cat food would be enough to draw him out.
When she pulled the cat food out of her purse, she caught the attention of several strays, but she knew Morgana's fur pattern too well to know it wasn't him. They just had to be patient.
Tumblr media
"What other places does Morgana tend to frequent? I know he separates from you quite often, but if he hasn't returned home by now, something might've happened. He's very smart. He doesn't normally get endangered like this, right? I've even seen him looking both ways before crossing the street." It wasn't uncommon nowadays for animals to do that, especially if they lived in a place with frequent traffic. But it was still considered a feat of great intelligence for an animal to do that regardless, even if it was common sense to a human.
Sylvia knew Morgana wasn't the type to get flattened by a truck because he accidentally stepped out on the road too early. Morgana was cautious like that. He also tended to be very slippery when someone wanted to snatch him up and he didn't consent to it. He was lithe, agile, and quick-witted. The kind of cat that you could trust to do errands for you, if he was willing. A simple fight with one of his friends shouldn't have bothered him this much, as long as the friend apologized with some kind of peace offering. Then again, it seems it was too soon for them to apologize...
Where would Morgana go if he was this upset? Surely he had to be somewhere in the vicinity. He'd never stray so far from Kurusu for so long... right?
@sylviareviar | X
She was so kind to someone like him. Most people didn't bat an eye unless it was their cat that went missing or his own group of friends who were just as worried about Morgana's whereabouts. The pink-haired girl wasn't wrong about something setting him off, but explaining everything would take way too long or rise suspicion. Their activities had to be kept secret.
But Ryuji loved the fame and thrill of it, foolishly so, if he could judge him.
Tumblr media
A little sigh was let out before he spoke. "You know how my friend Ryuji likes teasing him? This time it got a little too far, and Morgana took off to...who knows where. I don't know where he is. I've looked everywhere for him. It's like... I can't function without him." His hands were shaking too. He hated showing his weaknesses to other people, especially to a kouhai he barely knew.

Do you have any original characters for TWST?
(As a preface I do have another OC I ship with Chenya, Beau Rhodes, but… I haven’t done much with him besides conceptualizing him. Maybe I should do more since I don’t talk about it enough but TreyRid really really is my romantic canonxcanon TWST OTP and I love it desperately even if I never talk about it. I’ve also been fucking around lately with middle freak Ortho having a form he can use on the surface but ehhh that’s not really an OC thing.)
Ok here it is… The #yumeshit lore post. I actually wanna start getting into like the yume community on BlueSky or something because it has a lot more male yumes than tumb (or rather twit does but my main is a permalocked personal and they’re all slowly but surely jumping ship to BlueSky LMAO), so I might as well explain The Lore in detail.
As a preface I spend a LOT more time thinking about them when they’re older, because 1) self actualization and 2) why would I EVER want to willingly think about being a teenager again. I literally describe high school as “a haze of undiagnosed mental illness, and also drama club”. no thanx. It’s just not like… too lore noteworthy vs the stuff that actually happens in canon lol.  Here’s what they look like as adults. I’ve mentioned working on a Shrouds piece that took 2 months I finally finished last week, and this is it:
Tumblr media
(Side note- along with being a tgirl I hc Idia is a double below the knee amputee after the incident that killed Ortho)
also feel like I should say… Trix’s views on Rook don’t reflect mine LMAO. I have mixed feelings on Rook, but overall my feelings lean positive towards him. He’s a total freak and it’s funny as fuck and I love it. So if you like him don’t try to take the dynamic too personally, it’s the way it is for a laff more than anything.
Beatrice “Trixie” “Trix” Hart is a catch all self insert of mine; mostly for platonic yume. (She was made as a self insert assistant for Klavier Gavin, hence the name, and is also platonic with syl(gags) sylv(throws up in my mouth a little) Sylvain Jose Gautier. If you wanna know about those you can ask ig, I don’t have a ref for 3H Beatrice but I did draw AA Trixie when I came up with her.) She started out as a girl (and I still view her as such in those universes) but for TWST he’s specifically a guy because. Well. This game made me realize I was a transhet man and especially yume helped me sort that out along with being st4t exclusive LOL
Tumblr media
Trix is a Pomefiore second year bnuuy beastman from the Shaftlands, Class C (same class as Azul and Jamil). It just kind of really conveniently worked out that my sonas usually have upright brown bnuuy years like the Snow White bunnies and I’m so artistic Pomefiore was the only dorm that makes sense LOL. His Book 7 cameo on Rook’s shelf…
He’s in Film Research Club, and is unique because he joined specifically for crew work, not acting. He’s very extroverted in club and with people he’s close to, but he can be surprisingly introverted when he’s not comfortable. (Ambivert moment). He specializes in practical magic with his sewing and art, and Hates PE. (He likes flying, though.)
His unique magic is My Sweet Heart, which lets him see memories and emotions from people if he grasps their right hand and puts his hand over their heart.
Tumblr media
Caycay is his Number One BFF. I don’t know how they met his first year, but it was basically an immediate click (#trans recognizes #trans. #real #recognizes #real.). Trix walks to class with him every morning, and they frequently go to cafe collabs on the weekend and after class, being sure to leave some of their food out of their magicam posts lest they earn the wrath of their wardens LMAO. If Trix needs someone, Caycay is There for him.
Him and Vil are also VERY close. During his first year, there was an incident that lead to him being roommates with Vil, despite her being a second year and him being first. Trix Really does not like to talk about it, and while Vil would be fine telling people, she doesn’t out of respect for him. She also appreciates someone around club that’s enthusiastic about crew work, and tends to let him lead costume and prop work.
It’s Very clear he has a huge crush on her and that she doesn’t reciprocate. Sometimes she might throw him a bone and give him a little extra praise though LMAO. They do have a very bad fight toward the end of Vil’s third year though, and they go years without talking after.
His closeness with Vil leaves him some leverage for defending Epel. (#nonpassing recognizes #nonpassing. #real recognizes #real.) It’s mostly in vain, though, but Epel appreciates being looked out for a LOT. Especially because, despite how artistic and fashionable Trix is, his personality is MUCH more down to earth than other Pomefiore students. He’s the biggest advocate for Epel transferring to Savanaclaw his second year and someone who Epel confides a lot into.
Rook’s nickname for him is Monsieur Lapin (Floyd’s is Sea Bunny. Floyd doesn’t come up so I figure I might as well say it heh.). He hates Rook. He thinks Rook is a freak. Especially as a beastman he thinks Rook is super fucking weird. Rook loves Trix’s artwork and his personal journey with beauty and adores him a lot as his beloved underclassman. He knows Trix hates him. He doesn’t care. Trix hates him So Much.
He doesn’t know Ortho much minus the guy who sits next to Caycay’s companion pre Book 6, but once Ortho joins Film Research Trix gets attached REALLY fast. He’s always wanted a younger sibling so he dotes on Ortho constantly, and they rec each other anime and games all the time. (Trix gets him into Professor Layton and he LOVES it.) He learns… a lot about Idia and Ortho’s relationship through this.
Lilia also got asked to tutor him for history once because Trix can’t do homework For Shit and needs help finishing assignments despite his test scores. This backfires because they don’t get anything done ever, but most importantly for The Lore they trade socials and thus Trix is friends with Muscle Red and knows who he is.
Ok. Now the meat of it. The #yumeshit.
I think it’s probably obvious, but Trix is a nonpassing trans guy. NRC being an all boys school makes him feel safer, but… when he’s not at NRC, even if it’s just in the foothill town, he girlmodes. Being misgendered hurts a lot less that way. (No this is not projecting. Just kidding it is. Please help me.)
As a way of getting respite from this, he VTubes as a magical boy with a voice changer. I don’t have a proper ref but his sona is like the best design I’ve ever done and I’m lowkey mad about it. Anyways. While his interests aren’t really a secret irl it’s always kind of surprising when someone that doesn’t know him finds out he’s into nerdy things, but he gets REALLY invested in the games he’s playing and he has A Lot of info and interpretations to share. And despite his bright design, he gets most excited from horror. He’s not a huge indie by any means but he has a solid following.
And when Muscle Red sees there’s a well known horror game Gloomurai likes on the docket, well, he HAS to invite them to watch his friend with him! They’ve been telling him how their favorite speedrunner retired and they need someone new to watch, anyways.
Idia’s very pensive at first, seeing such a bright and sparkly character playing Resident Evil 7, a horror game with a very disgusting atmosphere and themes to match. Probably going to overreact to everything and pretend to be super scared and upset to look cute for views. But he’s watching with Muscle Red, and he wouldn’t make her watch something cringey like that, would he…?
As the game starts up, he starts gushing about what an amazing atmosphere the game has. The entire thing is filthy, and that leads to an overwhelming feeling of dread and disgust- even moreso with the family. His eyes light up when he points out an early scene is referencing The Blair Witch Project.
When it comes to things outside of gameplay itself, he really knows his stuff. Despite how mad him dying for the hundredth time on an extremely easy stealth section makes her, it’s nice to see such a passionate horror otaku. She almost doesn’t mind it because she likes listening to him talk. (Almost.)
Idia starts watching him with Muscle Red regularly. She’s too shy to talk in chat, so she just gives a lot of questionably large donos when he does things.
He gives a lot of half joking “thank you for funding my doll collection” responses at first, but then says Gloom should chat if they’re comfortable. He’d love to get to know someone who is giving him all this money, and they’re considered a legend in chat for it. She’s nervous (she has no idea why), but she does slowly start chatting and attaching messages to her donos. Soon, she’s a regular in the chat and community.
So active, in fact, she finds herself with a dm asking for her discord one day. A message follows shortly after about how he appreciates her involvement and wants to get to know her better- now that she’s more talkative, he thinks she’s really funny.
From there starts a quickly blooming online friendship. They talk whenever they get the chance, though he strictly has to go to bed early or he’ll get chewed out by his housewarden. (A female housewarden…? Is he even forced into the girl dorms at his school?) Idia’s never forthcoming with private info, though, and he seems pretty hesitant with how feminine he is irl to give much past vague detail, either.
Meanwhile, Trix has to be incredibly careful when lights out and Rook makes the rounds with how late he’s staying up. He is the number one person Trix would rather Die than see his conversation history when confiscating his phone. Gloom’s rude but funny and he loves hearing about X Obscure Game Yaoi Ship. (Sometimes he becomes a casual fan of the series and ship in question- he has been commissioned a LOT to draw her Star Rogue OTP by her.) (He also gets converted to Luisley probably.)
Offline, though, Idia and Trix’s relationship is… awkward. One time during remedial gym lessons when both of them had to run laps in his first year, Trix started complaining about missing club and how he needed to fix his make up, and Idia, being Idia, made a really snide comment about it. Trix snapped at her, and while to him it was just having a bad day, Idia… never really recovered from it.
In the next year her only exposure was daily convos that were way too peppy for so early in the morning with the extrovert that sat next to her. (I’ve always hced Idia and Caycay sit next to each other in class and straight up forget this isn’t actually canon on a regular basis.) At some point, he started taking curious glances at Idia, which didn’t help at all.
Trix starts getting suspicions about Idia from the few times he does hear her talk, and how similar it sounds. Has he met her before…? But surely he would remember knowing someone as distinctive as Idia, right?
He has absolutely zero involvement in Book 6 also. With everything going on (because their vice warden ROOK LITERALLY LEFT WITH NO WARNING OR BACKUP PLAN, BECAUSE OF COURSE HE DID, HE IS THE WORST PERSON ALIVE WHO HAS EVER BEEN BORN), him and his roommate end up being the ones to take charge and keep Pomefiore in order. I feel like with Idia yumes in particular Book 6 is a Big Thing because like, Book 6, so I feel like this is important info.
(He IS in Book 7 though. His dream is in between Epel and Rook’s. It’s about being amab :’( He doesn’t take waking up and being back in his actual body well.)
Her and Ortho coming back clear any doubts in his mind: Gloom suddenly leaving on the night of the incident, with zero word since, only to long back on with a “sry, irl stuff happened,” the day after the Shrouds come back? She’s Gloom. Especially getting to know Ortho in club and listening to him talk about her, there is literally no other option.
He was planning on confronting her about it… then Book 7 happened. Obviously how it ends could change this, but for now once everything’s settled Idia gets a discord notif saying he has to talk to her, and he wants to in person. She tries to say it would be too hard to arrange, only to get a simple response: “Ignihyde Lounge. One hour. You’ll know when you see me.”
She is, unsurprisingly, horrified. How did he figure out? Does he hate her now that he knows she’s a freak? Is he coming to tell her how he can’t believe he befriended someone so pathetic? He’s going to tell everyone all the things she said in confidence. “Lol, you guys thought Shroud was a freak before? Get a load of this!”
Luckily, Trix told Ortho about it. He’s able to coax Idia out and helps her to the dorm lounge, holding her hand along the way.
And indeed, the one Pomefiore uniform in Ignihyde’s dorm lounge sticks out like a sore thumb. Her heart rate explodes. He’s who she’s been talking to this entire time?! No. No. Absolutely no way. She’s not doing this. She tries to turn and run away, but her brother’s death grip (why did she give him all that strength?) keeps her in place.
He looks around awkwardly as he walks up. “Hey, uh… sorry about that time I snapped at you. Ortho told me it really freaked you out.” Trying to calm her down would hopefully make this easier.. “Do… you want to go somewhere more private? You’re even paler than normal.”
Yes. I do. Alone. And I want to forget this even happened. Unfortunately for her, the look on her bother’s face told her it was a mandatory quest. Defeated, she leads him back to her room.
He sits uncomfortably stiff on her bed. Idia hides in her chair, turned away from him. He tells her that he doesn’t hate her, that he doesn’t think she’s pathetic. No response. Luckily, he invited Ortho for backup.
“He really wants to be your friend, Idia! He’s the still same person you’ve been talking to online. And he’s really nice. He’s the one who recommended those games to me!”
Taking a cue on how exhausted she is mentally, Trix gets up and walks to the door. “Just… think about it, okay?”
Think about what? The fact that this person she got close to was actually a loud extrovert who hung around a bunch of normies? That he knows all of the rumors about her? Forget real life- he could go online and tell everyone what a freak Gloomurai was irl, too.
They don’t talk anywhere for like a week and Trix doesn’t walk to class with Caycay, but then they do talk it out. It’s really hard and REALLY scary for Idia, but she’s able to accept him into her life as a friend. He ends up being a really big pillar of stability for her, and he already knows about her own transness and boymoding which makes him even safer.
And… that’s how they are to the end of her third year! Friends. And really, not looking for anything past that.
Idia gets a really REALLY nice condo in the Kingdom of Heroes for her internship. (Which she mostly even only uses the upper half of. Smfh) She also gets two cats; a white one, Clear, and a gray one, Ryoji. I’m sure you can guess who they’re named after. Reminder that Idia is canonically a fujoshi. Anyways.
Trix visits during school breaks with Ortho… he also stays in Ortho’s room with him while he’s there. For the most part it’s a lot of just comfy stuff like gaming and watching movies, Ortho taking Trix out to see things and such. Over Winter break while visiting Trix edits one of the Film Research pieces for the culture fair bc he’s club president now… By the time of said fair with 4th years presentations it’s very obvious to like Everyone how they feel. (And they probably know it themselves but try to ignore it because neither feels ready for a relationship).
A really REALLY big point worth noting during this time period (and this is all I’ll say bc I know it’s a difficult topic) is that they see each others cutting scars for the first time. They never really comment on or talk about it, but there’s a wordless understanding and comfort between them afterwards.
Idia’s staying on the surface for at least a few years to see if researching with Olympos resources can give any new perspectives on blot or her curse. If Trix wants to stay for his internship, there’s plenty of room. She doesn’t admit it, but she really wants him to stay. Unfortunately, though, he’s always been interested in the Queendom of Roses and opts for an editing internship with a publisher there.
It’s more of the same; he visits her more regularly because he’s not limited to NRC’s schedule, and he still streams and she still watches and talks to him. He also adopts Chunky who LIVES FOREVER AND NEVER DIES, EVER. There’s an undeniable closeness between them but neither are still ready to actually act, even if it’s clear they may as well already be together lol.
During this time she also starts getting him transformation potions to help with dysphoria from STYX while he transitions.
After his internship, he’s able to get a job at the Kingdom of Heroes office of the publisher he interned for. He may or may not have chosen to transfer on purpose- there’s plenty of space there, anyways, so much so he can have his own room big enough to both sleep and work in. Ortho’s out on his own acting internship with Vil’s agency, so for the most part it’s just them and their cats in this huge place lmao. It’s really easy to coexist because there’s space when they need it and Idia’s like entire gamer zone on the upper level when they wanna do stuff together. It works out really well.
There are a whole bunch of headcanons of mine about STYX and the Shrouds and their relationships that I’m not really comfortable going into. However, when they overblotted together, Idia and Ortho did something… really traumatic unrelated to Middle Freak Ortho’s death that Idia blames herself for. She still has regular nightmares about it, and while Trix usually isn’t around from the breakdowns because he’s in his room when they happen, this time he fell asleep upstairs and heard all of it.
He goes in to check on her, and she’s really closed off. He’s eventually able to get her to tell him what happened and her guilt, but… He already knew. Ortho told him years ago when they were all still at NRC. He was waiting for her to tell him on her own terms.
Idia does uhh not take this being hidden from her well! He rationalizes that knowing it and never judging her and standing by her side this entire time means he truly does care and doesn’t blame her. He holds her hand and for the first time says it:
“I love you.”
Idia looks at him wide eyed for a second before turning away.
“You need to leave.”
He’s allowed to stay- she’s not going to just throw him on the street- but he is not allowed upstairs near her. She needs time to process everything. Especially how he hurt her trust.
Eventually they are able to talk it out though and end up in a relationship. YIPEE!!!!!! Ortho moves in permanently around this time with his internship over with his 2 dogs to add to the family. :)
There’s a lot of stuff with STYX and Woe I haven’t fuuuuuully sorted out the details of, but Idia does eventually have to go back for a while to put her research to use and put an end to things. I think this period is really tough because she does Not want Trix to see what a horrible place it is and how it’s the source of so many awful things it was so she tries to leave him. She doesn’t obv and she’s able to successfully find a solution to the Phantom problem.
Once she’s back, though, she does have a near immediate breakdown- with it all over, her brain can actually like. Process what her life was up to that point and she just kind of snaps. She ends up hospitalized for a few months to keep her safe from a HORRIFIC schizophrenic break. Trix uses STYX Bux for a place to stay so he can visit her near daily and help her through it. There’s also a REALLY bad incident with Ortho.
Minus that though from there it’s… really just them being happy, healing, and transitioning with each other. Idia becomes an indie game dev and Trix becomes a horror writer. He still streams (she started vtubing somewhere along the way too), but they’ve never publicly posted about their relationship. It’s really funny because it’s like blatant but they just try to act like it isn’t LMAO.
As they get older, they move to a small, quiet place in the Queendom of Roses. They have 3 kids (who I also have ocs for but that’s WAY too cringe) who are very well loved. Ortho also lives with them and they have a very happy family. :)
TL;DR: Idia wins the VTuber Fuck A Fan contest.

Beach episode things
Sage made a huge sandcastle after getting into a contest with Ivan and Misra over who could build a cooler one without using any powers. Somehow there’s proper parapets. Then they had a contest with powers and the siblings won because you could go inside of it.
Vapor kept staring pensively out into the ocean, she’s not really sure why (Swap universe things hehe) Sylve made her a sand mermaid and she felt better after that.
Bennett made one of those drip castles with Auryn and Aruna, it was very nice :)
Chad fell asleep so Sir put seashells on his chest and he tanned with two little seashell marks on his chest lol.
Melatonin forgor to put on sunscreen and got a little crispy before Fen found out Mel forgot and took them inside for some aloe vera. Fen isn’t a huge fan of the beach anyway, the sand is course and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.
Memiri surfed, she’s surprisingly good at it!
Alex and Ross mostly collected seashells together but they did find a bunch of crabs and decided to capture them so they could all have crab legs for dinner. They achieved success with some help from Goonie.
Cathy didn’t go out to the beach herself but had cold drinks for everyone ready when they came back
Deed found an octopus stuck on a rock somewhere (not a venomous or poisonous one, thank Sage for that). His name is Gerald now and she’s taking care of him.
BRO YOU COOOOOOOKED!!!!
Hear me out: Assistant later is banned from the beach by accidentally getting sand all over the house because a ton got stuck in their fur and hair

oki doki, after a bunch of breaks but still an obsessed spree, I'm done binging the Shot in the Dark Masterpost!!!!
Ofc I have a million things to say but let me just tell you I was so hooked and mad abt the fact that there were so many prompts and stories that I never stumbled upon cos they were buried under all your other posts, and MAN, I am severely addicted. To Cliff especially he's the loml I would literally die for him.
Crazy in Love had a GRIP on me. The romance was amazing, the angst, AND UGH JON LOSING HIMSELF MADE ME LOSE MYSELF LIKE UGH READING THAT CAUSED ME SO MUCH PAIN AND TENSION AND I WAS LIKE YES SYLVIA YOU GOTTA TELL CLIFF and I was genuinely so scared for her at the same time, like once again, y'all do emotion, so, damn, well.
Lost and Found was also really really good and it gave me much better context about the world and backstory considering I haven't read the books yet, but if I had to introduce a friend to the universe it would probably be through this. It really highlighted the platonic relationship with Cliff and Sylv and the angst at the end is still fresh in my mind even though I read it like two weeks ago and a million other stuff?? And duh, Jon and Sylv being literally the most delicious romance I've ever read. MAN. THEY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER SO MUCH THAT IT HURTTTTSSSS WHYYYY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME AJHBSJHBJVBHDV
Out of the prompts I think the ones that really stuck with me are probably any of the ones that had to do with the siren fairy- like man. Any time Sylv has to against one or BOTH of her boys just kills me. I cannot. I am addicted LOL
also Cliff constantly rejecting Sylvia when she wants to heal him is so like. I love how it's clearly something that happens a LOT and it just connects them better. Like. Cmon buddy. Ik. But let her heal you like come onnnnnn. but then at the same time im like SYLV IT'S FINE JUST LEAVE HIM BE. BUt no. SHe can't. and i'm so happy that she doesn't.
Pocket Nap! IS ALSO AN ADDICTION, I AM ADDICTED TO IT THE WAY I'M ADDICTED TO TEDDY BEAR WITH XANDER AND GRAYSON. Something about sleepy prompts just gets me, you know?
overall that was amazing and I love them more then I ever have before and yeah!! Ik i haven't rlly been active but TRUST me I still come to you and Mary's pages almost every single day and yes!!!!!! so so sorry this ask got way longer then I thought it would !!! love ya!!!
AWWWW omg this made me night!! I am so happy I put together that masterlist of Shot stories, since it made it easier for you to look through them all!
Sylv's relationship with the boys fuels my happiness so much! Jon and Sylv are SUCH a comfort couple, and the sibling vibes between Cliff and Sylv make my heart GLOW ✨ Her demand for pocket naps is so valid. And the healing argument literally kicks off in the rewrite of the first book--just finished editing a bit of that 😭
Gosh I would love to revisit the siren fairy idea at some point. I'm a sucker for making tinies terrified of giants they trust wholeheartedly LOL. Sylv having to use magic against Jon and Cliff is so heart-wrenching and I need moreee 😩
Thank you so much for this sweet feedback!!

Lepidoptera
Chapter 2: Danaus plexippus
Fandom(s): Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Rating: T (Language, violence, death, possible inuendo)
Summary:
There exists a creature that spans across many planets in the galaxy, with an unthreatening appearance and reputation. Their bodies are simplified to the utmost limit.
Simplicity is therefore flexibility. Simplicity is therefore tenacious. That is the Caterpillar. A simple insect dropped into the Box.
Cad Bane had thought she was retired, known she was. Because, after all, Sylv Rex was a well-known Bartender on Coruscant now. And hasn’t donned her moniker in ages.

Mmm I wanted to bounce back and forth between POVs per chapter, but I might just write the rest or a bulk of the rest in Sylv's POV lol
Also yes, I do use "Yan" as Dooku's given name. Yes I know its not canon. But I like it, so its fine.
Sylvraius Rex hadn’t planned on staying on Serenno after picking up the order of liquor that she had put in with the merchants there several months ago. For a number of reasons, really— but it wasn't because she was technically breaking Galactic Republic Law every time she entered Separatist Space, let alone Serenno. No, she could care less about that part, really. Many merchants and explorers shared her sentiment on that matter, the War was inconvenient to them all, and at the beginning, they had all ignored the law. It had caused a number of problems, really, to the point where certain documents and permits had been created to allow for all of them to travel freely.
War didn’t stop money from flowing, in fact, it happened to only increase the money flow— for better or for worse. Putting sanctions on travel for merchants and explorers would only mean that they'd figure a way around it. And it was better to control who could go where legally than trying to do so when people were moving about the Galaxy illegally.
It had been a pain in the ass, but Sylv, as she preferred to be called, had gotten a permit that allowed her to travel freely, not that she really did. She liked staying on Coruscant, for a number of reasons. She was the head Bartender of the White Clover Tavern, after all, meaning her work was on Coruscant usually. Besides, you could vanish into the one-trillion faces on Coruscant and become anonymous if you needed to.
So, no, Sylv didn't use her Permit to parade around the Galaxy, and she certainly didn't use it as a pass to stay in Separatist Territory longer than she needed to.
(She didn't have much stock in the war, but since she lived on a Republic Planet and found herself friendly with the Republic Soldiers, the Clones, she was a bit more biased than at the start of the war.)
And yet, Count Yan Dooku of Serenno was crafty.
Though perhaps crafty wasn't the right word. He knew where to poke and prod and how to get his way— as annoying as it was to admit that she had been manipulated in such a manner.
She had known something was up when she saw him at the drop-station, where most of the on-planet merchants came to help load their products onto the ships of those who were coming from off-planet. He had stood idly by with a few of those Magna-guards of his by his side and she had tried hard to ignore him as she loaded the creates up into the Swallowtail. Only, when it looked as if she was almost done was when he started to talk.
By then, she had told the merchant to head on out because she could handle the rest, but that didn't mean she hadn't been annoyed when Dooku started talking to her about matters that weren't about bartender or mercantile things. He started by talking about her, something that had sort of unnerved her— she knew she had once had a reputation, but it wasn't like she enjoyed people reminding her and poking into her business and past as a Bounty Hunter.
Then he began to talk about a competition, a challenge, he was holding back at his... palace? Palace. All the while he was also using her old Hunter Moniker as if she hadn't retired from Bounty Hunter fieldwork ages ago. And as if that would make her more inclined to show up and participate. He had told her that there were going to be a number of other bounty hunters taking part in this competition he was holding were going to be there— and shouldn’t the Guildmaster meet some of her best workers?— before getting specific.
He brought up the top two Bounty Hunters, Cad Bane and Embo.
That had made her wary— or rather, warier than before.
It wasn’t… exactly a secret, but it wasn’t open knowledge about the relationship between the two top hunters and herself. The others in the highest rungs of the Hunters knew, and anyone who visited the Clover knew, but it was a general rule of respect to not spread rumors of any relationships a fellow Hunter went into— let alone the top two, or the Guildmaster for that matter, no matter if she had been the Master for decades or just a few years. It just wasn't done.
Count's words had made her pause and think for a moment. The fact that he knew was the stranger issue to her, not the fact that he was clearly and openly manipulating her— she was used to that one, after all.
And Sylv, by principle, did not trust politicians who played their parts— Separatist or Republic or otherwise. They were manipulative and often double-crossed those weaker than them, they spoke for only a fraction of their people, despite claiming that they spoke for all of them. In fact, the only politicians she did trust were the ones with both feet on the ground, slagging through a day-to-day life like the rest of them, knee-deep in rumors and crass language and greasy foods and the smell of grime and smoke. The ones who watched street brawls and talked to the citizens on the lower rung and understood them.
And Dooku, and both Senates, were not these types of politicians. It would be hard stretched to find one like that nowadays, anyways.
So no, she didn't trust the Count one bit. And whatever the man wanted her to participate in, he was going to have Bane and Embo take part in as well.
Logically, of course, she knew that the two could take care of themselves. They didn’t need a retired Bounty Hunter looking after them… but still... She didn't like Dooku's tone, the insinuation that if she didn't stay and play his game, something would happen to them. And he knew that despite everything, she would never want them dead.
Sylv had ended up staying.
Ended up slipping into her old Bounty Hunter role again.
And now she was here, in this structure called ‘The Box’ created by Moralo Eval.
The light that hit them when they had entered had been harsh and bright, and she knew she wasn’t the only one who squinted when they were brought in by way of an elevator. It was a bit jarring considering how they had been standing around in the dark for the better half of a standard hour in the Count's courtyard. And because she had taken her hood off, which probably would have helped with blocking some of the light out, but nonetheless.
Her eyes took some time to adjust, but by then many others were moving around slowly, taking in every part of the confined room they were in. She didn't wander too far in comparison to some of the others, looking around carefully. She wasn't quite sure what the structure was made of, but she guessed that it was a combination of metal and duraplast— and from the humming vibrations she could feel when she put her hand down on the surface of the floor the entire thing was mechanical.
If what Eval said was true about how this was supposed to... simulate certain situations, that meant that there were traps and other fun things were within the walls of the Box.
Another low thrum echoed, followed with the same vibrations of machinery changing gears and then suddenly the panels on the four surrounding walls lit up like screens and Eval's face appeared.
“Before we begin our first challenge, let me say there is only one rule inside The Box,” He started, voice echoing in the enclosed space and eyes seemingly alight with glee. “There are no rules.”
Well, that wasn’t shady at all.
“No rules? What is the point of a competition then?” She heard Embo mutter in Kyuzo— there was no need for him to use basic here, most of them spoke or knew various languages anyways— glancing around as she stood up.
Eval seemed to want to roll his eyes before he spoke. “The point, my friend, is to escape—“
“And do it quickly, yeah, yeah, because only the survivors get to proceed,” Sylv cut him off, putting both hands into the pockets of her coat. The Phindian looked annoyed but she stared right up at him, a brow raised. Embo shifted on his feet as the silence drew longer between the two of them, his hand twitching a bit and Eval appeared to be considering something but relented. Instead, the screens folded back into the panels and Eval vanished— for now.
The Kyuzo glanced to her as she shook her head, the other Bounty Hunters already moving about the Box.
“You knew?” He asked and she shrugged, keeping Bane in her line of sight as the Duros glanced around the
“It’s obvious, the Count said he was only looking for the best," She said, glancing up at him. "He only needs the best. The rest will be killed off, either through this or he'll do it himself. Remember, he stated that any additional survivors will be eliminated. This is set up to kill."
Embo paused to consider her words but nodded after a moment before a hissing noise sounded. They both turned around, watching as a part of the floor had been lowered and the others were moving to peer down into it. She didn't make a move towards it though, and she saw Bane remain still as well, despite Hardeen going right up to peer down into the hole.
"There's something down there," she muttered to Embo, who was also still and watching. The Kyuzo nodded slightly and true to her word, another hissing noise sounded and a green-colored gas poured out from the hole.
Hardeen stepped back, a hand over his helmet as if that would protect him instead of the filters that his helmet had.
“Dioxis!” the other sniper shouted, “Breathe it and you’re dead!”
“Sounds festive,” she muttered as the rest of them started to back up from the hole. Embo gave her a look at that, though it was hard to tell if he was just exasperated or confused on her choice of reaction— it could have been both, really.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Sixtat trip backward on part of the floor that had begun to rise up, creating a pillar. The other Hunter quickly gathered his wits and leaped up onto it, crouching a bit.
“Every man for himself!” he barked as if that wasn’t obvious. Embo moved quickly, though, leaping up and over Sylv before roundhouse kicking the Sakiyan off of the pillar— almost as soon as the words were out of his mouth.
She stood there for a moment, watching the other Hunters scramble to the other tiles— Bane kicked Mantu right in the face to secure his spot, Twazzi almost literally throwing Jakoli from his to take the Rodian’s spot. It was rather amusing to watch it all happen in her opinion.
Embo glanced down at her as the gas started to get thicker but she just tilted her head in response. He didn’t need to bother with worrying about her, and he knew this.
A long ago, Sylv had stopped being fully human— well, sort of. She wasn’t sure what she was anymore in regards to being human, but They had called her an Adaptive Mutant. They had created them to be like that, after all. A being that was both human and not.
And the part that wasn't had been modeled after the Caterpillar— that was how she got her moniker. The Caterpillar Sniper. A being experimented on and trained to fight and have the physical characteristics of the possibly millions of caterpillar species across the galaxy. That was what Insecta created her to be like, the Final Survival Form. They had been successful in doing so, and because of it, she had immunity to toxins— all of them.
Because Insecta didn’t skimp on the job.
In order to test levels of toxicity in venomous creatures, Insecta's researchers injected insects if all kinds with various types of toxins. The Dorin Mantis, the Christophsis Iris-Winged Butterfly, Tattooine Sun Beetles… all of them resulted in death. Except for one set of insects.
That was the Caterpillar. The Caterpillars were completely immune to the toxins.
And so, she was created to be the same.
Dioxis wasn’t as potent as some of the poison gasses she had been faced with before. Yes, it was deadly, but small doses were fine for the average sentient. It was also lighter than oxygen, to a point. One could get below the gas-line eventually— if you could get down that low.
Still, she understood Embo’s concern. There was no telling what was going to be going on below once the room filled up.
“Go,” she said simply, “Every man for themselves, after all.”
He rolled his eyes but took off, jumping from pillar to pillar— using Onca as a springboard to get to the center pillar, much to the other's displeasure. Bane was settled where he was, so he didn’t need any help from her— though he rarely did.
Sylv took off then, following Embo up to the highest point, though she didn’t bother climbing up next to him— there wouldn’t be enough room anyways, not to stand stably. Instead, she hung off the edge, activating the bolts in her boots to anchor her into the pillar.
She liked her boots, a spare pair from the time before her legs had been blown off and replaced with Cybernetics. The anchor-bolts helped her keep her balance in unsteady terrain— and allowed her to bend her body in any way possible. Her legs had the bolts now too.
She glanced around as she hung there. It seemed like no one had died yet, and Hardeen had been oddly helpful.
He bothered her, really. It wasn’t like him at all— and she knew the marksman of Concord Dawn. He had stopped into the White Clover once or twice, she knew and remembered everyone that came through to the Tavern and to her Bar.
While she couldn’t see his face because of his helmet, the voice was definitely Hardeen’s, and at first glance, his actions were the same as well, but, well. Sylv was blind to faces. She couldn’t recognize them at all, another loss from when she had gotten caught up in that explosion that nearly ended her life. So, faces weren’t anything she used to recognize people.
Instead, she used other things— clothing, for one, but it was the little tells and twitches people made. On top of that, she was a bartender, she knew how to read people. Years of assassination and Bounty Hunter work on top of being a bartender had trained her to pay attention to those subtle movements, those unconscious actions.
And Hardeen was acting rather strange in general, unconscious ticks notwithstanding.
She shook off the feeling, glancing over to Bane and he tilted his hat a bit, brow-ridge raising from under it. A questioning look.
‘How are you holding up?’
Or that’s how she liked to interpret it. It was more likely something a bit crasser, but the sentiment was there. Unlike Embo, Bane hadn’t had time to question or admonish her for being there. She knew she was rusty from lack of time on the field, and she knew that they knew too.
But she could handle herself fine. They knew this as well.
So instead, she tilted her head towards Hardeen. Bane’s eyes flickered to the other sniper, his scowl deepening for a moment. It seemed that she wasn’t the only one suspicious of him, then. Good. She’d have to beat his ass if he hadn’t been a bit suspicious of him.
She broke her gaze with Bane, glancing around again. The others were tensed up still, also gazing about from where they were perched or hanging. Sixtat was wiping his face, probably a bit sore from where Embo had slammed his heel into the other’s jaw— if not broken.
“That wasn’t so hard,” the Sakiyan muttered.
“Don’t jinx us,” she warned him, and he looked over scowling for a split second before he jolted— the platform he was standing on started to rise again. His wasn’t the only one, it seemed, as Sylv felt her and Embo’s jerk a bit, beginning to rise. She dropped her hand from the edge the same moment Embo kicked Onca down from his perch, claiming it as his own. She remained where she was, though, grabbing the sides instead to avoid getting her fingers crushed.
Several others had relocated as well, and there was a general feeling of confusion among them. Certain pillars were still raising, much slower than the ones that had already hit the ceiling. This… wasn’t a great situation.
The gas, likely, would keep rising up to them, and while several of them had biological defenses to keep them alive for a bit not all of them did. If she thought about it, though, it almost made sense. There wasn't a way out by way of going up, not one that she could figure out at least— and that made sense. Even though Hardeen knew about Dioxis, he only really knew that it was deadly, none of the other details. Eval was banking on the fact that no one seemed to realize that it was lighter than oxygen and would keep rising up slowly. He had pushed them to the top.
That meant the way out wasn't above, but below. Hardeen seemed to realize that as well, starting to say something before she cut her off.
“If there’s no way out from above, then it has to be down,” she said, though angled down so it looked like she was speaking to Embo. The Kyuzo nodded with a soft rumble before she glanced to Hardeen. She supposed she shouldn't reveal all her cards just yet, she had to play the others— they didn't need to know the extent of her knowledge around these sorts of things, after all.
“Hardeen, you said this was Dioxis?” she asked him.
The other Sniper shifted but nodded. “Yeah. It is. I’d recognize the look and smell anywhere.”
“Weird bragging point, but alright,” she muttered before she twisted a bit, looking down at the others. “Dioxis is lighter than oxygen but doesn’t move as fast. You're all in danger being all the way up here, it’s going to continue to rise and you’ll be dead."
“The filters in my helmet can protect me for a short time,” Hardeen offered, “If what you’re saying is right, I can scout a way out below.”
He looked ready to jump and she narrowed her eyes again.
The Hardeen she knew was not someone who offered to help. Let alone offer his help to a woman. That was just how Hardeen was. And with the way that he was acting right now? He was becoming more suspicious every second.
“No need,” she said simply instead, stopping the man from jumping. “If there’s not a way out down there your filters will fail and you’ll die. Granted, if you still want to go down there, no skin off of my teeth— but I would’ve thought you’d be against it, Hardeen, usually you would be."
She saw the man tense out of the corner of her eye. Bane shifted, adjusting his hat, bearing his teeth just a bit.
“Then what’re ya suggesting, woman?” he asked.
Embo rumbled a bit and to anyone else, it would’ve looked like two hunters picking a fight with one another, with Embo coming to the defense of Sylv. But that was only to an outsider who wasn’t privy to the fact that Bane and Embo usually got along. And Embo wasn’t coming to her defense, she knew. It was a noise akin to a hum, just a simple vocalization. She didn't need it and he knew that she didn't.
“If you forgot, you dumbass, toxins have no effect on me,” Sylv said with a roll of her eyes. Bane growled lowly and she raised a brow before she continued. “Poisons, Venoms, gasses, none of them will kill me. I’ll go down and see if there’s anything. If there’s nothing I’ll come back up and we can figure something else out.”
She didn’t wait for a response.
Instead, she shifted, releasing the pressure she was putting down on the mechanic for the anchor-bolts in her boots, and, without fail, the bolts snapped back into place. She let go of the edge of the pillar she was holding onto, giving Embo a slight nod before she dropped down into the Dioxis and onto the floor below.
Fun fact, Danaus plexippus or the Monarch butterfly caterpillar is immune to toxins. Actually, it seems that most caterpillars are.
I had to read so much for this fic, you have no idea lmaooo. Basically, uhh, I read through a ton of John Henri Fabre's texts, specifically the toxin immunity. This comes from the Life of the Scorpion where Fabre dropped some other insects into a scorpion's enclosure. Every other insect would die upon being struck, but the caterpillars— provided that they didn't die because of the impact of the sting or because they were stung too much and the external damage was too great— were fine and continued on their way. The Toxins had no effect.
And since this is star wars and also I can exaggerate facts and canon, I just expanded this from scorpion toxins to all toxins. Of course, that means medicines and anesthesia are also rendered useless because what is medicine but just another form of poison?
Also I did consider working on official bits of the Kyuzo language, since Filoni used french for the language, along with heavy Japanese, Indonesean, and other South East Asisan Nation influence for the Kyuzo people. But then decided against it because uhh I was lazy? I'm still trying to figure out how exactly I want to write Embo's speech patterns as well, since the Kyuzo apparently seak in short phrases and sentences, but it varies sometimes per series it seems.
Anywho, thank you for reading!

no specific character(s), just answer for whoever you'd like - what do you headcanon characters would dress up as for Halloween?
So, for the most part, whenever I draw characters in costumes, I rarely consider the characters tastes and more so choose who I want to dress them as lol, so actually thinking on it, you’d probably get a wide variety of costumes
Tale
Rus - honestly I’m pretty sure he just makes up his own ideas for costumes and doesn’t actually dress and anyone specifically, since Sans says, in game, that Papyrus’ outfit is what they’d made for a costume party, so I think. He just makes up a costume he thinks looks cool and goes with it! Though I believe his sense of fashion is heavily influenced by mettaton so take that as you will.
Sans - he’s not really. A doer. More of a. Don’ter. So he’d. Probably just be whatever someone else wanted him to be? As long as they got him the costume, otherwise you’re getting like. A piece of paper that says ‘costume’ taped to his chest lol
Dyne - hell yeah she’ll wear a costume! She’ll likely just make up something on her own, like Rus, but if Alphys wanted her to wear something specific or do a couples costume, she’d be really into it!!!
AU’s below the cut!
Swap
Stretch - he is similarly lazy to Sans, but he’s also more prone to excitement, like Papyrus. It wouldn’t be hard to convince him to put on a costume, but if he had to choose one himself, it would likely be a closet-cosplay style costume of a character from Sylv’s (US Undyne) comics or a video game he likes!
Blue - I feel like there’s a chance he’d do something similar to Rus? But maybe a little more inclined to do a character he likes! Maybe a superhero, or a supervillain, for some reason I can see him dressed as captain falcon? Idk. But I don’t think he’d get as into designing his own like Rus, regardless.
Sylv - she would absolutely take the opportunity to be a character from her favorite comics. She’d go all out in making it, too, try to get it as accurate as possible!
Fell
Edge - costumes are for children. He’d likely just wear his guard uniform because that’s the closet approximation he’s got. But if someone like Frisk or Flowey specifically asked him to dress as someone, like Ghost Rider, he’d be hard pressed to say no (as long as the costume wasn’t too humiliating). Although…he may also take the opportunity to wear a more outlandish outfit he thinks looks cool, or if he had to dress for an event or party or whatever, he might go with a classic, like a vampire or something. He’s one of the few who would even do make up, though, if the costume called for it.
Red - same boat as Sans. I can’t imagine him deliberately putting effort into a costume of his own volition. But like Edge, I could imagine it’s easier for him to be talked into it by someone he has a soft spot for. I think Toriel would be the most likely suspect in these circumstances.
Levi - sure why not. She’s completely the type to just go to a costume shop and pick out whatever the hell she thinks looks badass and call it a day. She will accessorize it with real weapons, though, so be careful.
SF
Copper - frankly I think he’d vibe with costumes. If there’s any outfit he’d seen from a movie or something he wants to cop, now is the time baby. Or maybe something slightly generic, like. A demon hunter. Just, make up some cool looking outfit from clothes he thrifted. He’d try to make it look low effort, but low key he’d also wanna be proud of it…
Gold - he’d definitely need to be talked into wearing a costume. It’s not even that he’s really against it, per se, but someone would need to kind of prove it was worth it to him, and he’d also lean more towards classics, like a vampire, or a comic book villain.
SF Undyne - maybe maybe not. I’m honestly not sure if she’d wear a costume…I have to flesh her out more.
FS
Ghost - he doesn’t really care. As long as it doesn’t look stupid and it’s comfortable he’ll probably wear whatever. But he’s not likely to pick a costume on his own, I don’t think…
Haze - he would definitely just wear his uniform, but your chances of convincing him to do anything else is next to nonexistent.
FS Undyne - initially, I don’t think she’s be into the idea of costumes, but if you found a weak spot for her, like a costume her Alphys thought would look good on her, she’d cave easily.

I can't remember, but i think it was you who said you were changing Wows storyline (not that I blame you lol) but I'm curious what it is? I'm mostly writing excerpts for my characters during Legion and I've been thinking a bit on what they'll be up to during Bfa. I'm debating changing some things to fit my version of bfa lol
Yes, it WAS PROBABLY ME.
I’m changing it specifically for Amita’s “canon” story (Lascivious Ophidian, as I’ve named it). She follows WoW storyline pretty closely up until the beginning of Legion.
Umm because I’m long winded, I’ll put it all under the cut!
[Pre-post Edit]: Also I’m really sorry, I JUST finished typing it all and uh. It’s long. Ahahahah;;;;
Some of my points below are subject to change but I’ll give you the gist of the differing things that happen in Lascivious Ophidian vs. Canon WoW.
Vol’jin and Varian not dying (now, I know Varian dying is important to Anduin’s development, but you don’t need to kill a parental figure to push forward a child. BNHA is a very good example of not needing to KILL the mentor to push forward the student, same can be applicable to Anduin and Varian). Sylvanas actually uses her quick reflexes and her experience as the previous ranger general of Quel’thalas to fire an arrow at the fel guard before it can stab Vol’jin (also I won’t go into how BS it was that he died of Fel Poisoning, but I won’t do that here LOL). If Blizzard wants to write “strong women”, they can start with actually having them use their skills to help their allies (cuz don’t get me started on how Jaina just disappears from the Alliance cinematic along with Mekkatorque so that Blizz can milk the whole Genn / Varian scene).
Quickly following this, Varian and Vol’jin fight the Fel Reaver together while Sylv / Jaina more or less team up to evacuate all Horde / Alliance fighters. Some ofc refuse to leave their High King / Warchief, and both women also provide long range support. Baine has to carry Thrall off battle because Thrall is completely spent. Eventually Vol’jin and Varian take down the Fel Reaver, but not before both of Vol’jin’s tusks break (he loses one to some trash mob that he needs to dodge with little time to think about it - the other he loses because Varian notices that Vol’jin is now off-balance with one tusk missing and listen, Vol’jin has big tusks, bigger than how I draw them, so he’s off-center because of that. This leads to Varian running toward Vol’jin with a hand out, Vol’jin nicks his tusk and in a moment of absolute trust, Vol’jin lowers his head enough to let Varian grab, and snap his tusk. And then kill something with it. Because that’s badass).
Varian unfortunately gets either his spine broken or knocked out (haven’t decided yet) and Vol’jin has to carry him to safety because he’s down for the count, and right before Gul’dan can Do Some Bad Shit the Aspects show up with a large force of dragons. Gul’dan nopes the fuck out. Khadgar manages to make it over to and teleport the remaining people to safety (not sure what entirely happens to Amita during this yet, I originally had her scripted to throw her all into making a wall of roots and get left behind, but I already have a plot similar to that with her disappearing for three years and Vol’jin Will Not Lose Her Again so… that’s still up in the air. She’s present during Broken Shore, though).
Then, instead of leaving cuz she’s Angery at the Horde, Jaina instead recognizes that she still has trauma / pain from what the Horde did to Theramore, and then Dalaran (kinda sorta) during Garrosh’s reign. So she leaves Dalaran to Khadgar because she’s like “y’know what, I can’t bring myself to trust the entire Horde again yet, if you want them in Dalaran, then I can’t be here, in Dalaran. I still need time to heal” something like that. Everyone is understanding of this and doesn’t try to make her stay, and Amita does what she can to help her BFF find some solitude. Something along those lines. Cuz y’know Jaina’s anger and distrust toward the Horde is still valid and understandable, but Blizz REALLY needs to do better with nuance instead of having characters Rage Quit every ten seconds.
Most of Legion stuff otherwise is normal, with the whole class hall thing (the Dreamgrove, in Amita’s case), Genn still pursues Sylvanas into Stormheim but instead of destroying her chance to enslave Eyir, Vol’jin pulls a hard stop on that plan. She rage-vents at Vol’jin about it and he claps back that she never actually asked him if she could go off on this little personal mission of hers, and so robs Genn of the closure he needs in regards to Liam’s death (this is important for another plot point I have further down). Vol’jin promises that he’ll help her find a way to sustain her people through more natural means (l i t e r a l l y). So Vol’jin and Sylv have a pretty strong bond, and also because Sylv actually follows the development Blizz was giving her up until Teldrassil happened, which was her developing past her obsession with keeping ONLY the Forsaken alive (re: “we are the Forsaken, we will slaughter anyone who stands in our way”), and starts to care about the Horde and wanting to keep the Horde alive (which was still hinted at until, y’know, recent shit which I don’t understand).
Argus related stuff is pretty much the same.
Sargeras still stabs Azeroth, and so there’s Azerite everywhere, and Vol’jin is entirely unamused by Gallywix because the Azerite shows Vol’jin a vision that Bwonsamdi has shown him before, so he just shrugs it off, because Vol’jin doesn’t care about becoming the ultimate legendary saviour all-powerful all-mighty whatever the fuck. Silithus is pretty similar but after some ACTUAL TALKING, Vol’jin and Anduin agree to split who harvests Azerite from where so that Horde miners aren’t being killed and Alliance troops aren’t being killed in retaliation (Vol’jin sends Sylv to “deal with” the problem at first, and then has a chat with Anduin to p much show Anduin that “every action has a reaction, did you really expect me to loaf around while you killed my miners?”) Yeah. Learning moment yay.
As for BfA, instead of Teldrassil being burned down by Sylvanas (because she obvs CAN’T do that since Vol’jin is warchief and he would fucking never), Genn is the one behind it. So Sylv WANTS to march on Teldrassil because she doesn’t believe the peace between the Alliance and Horde will last. Vol’jin, while agreeing that it would, in fact, be smart to attack Teldrassil, tells Sylv “no, we can make this work. Sure, peace might not last forever, but so long as I’m in charge, I can make it work. We’ll start with Ashenvale. We’ll start with having our druids restore what we’ve taken”. Sylv eventually agrees that this is a good idea, so then stuff between the Horde and the Nelves is a bit better.
Now, I haven’t ironed out EXACTLY how I get to Genn making the decision to burn down Teldrassil, but he’s very consumed by his anger toward Sylvanas (re: him not getting his chance to ruin HER chance at getting a future for her people because Vol’jin both ruins that chance and proposes an alternative - more or less leading into Forsaken learning druidic magic so that they can use plantlife to sustain and heal their bodies, and we get the orcs of Draenor, so there are other rituals that can be put in place of… FUCKING VALKYR. Please note this is also something else that I’m still working on, but I find it frustrating that we just always forget that the Horde has druids and shamans and there are other ways to preserve the Forsaken than the Blight. Because perhaps Sylv is just going to have to make due with what she has, and IDK ACTUALLY TALK TO HER PEOPLE AND GIVE THEM A CHOICE AND SHIT. Sylv is p much driven by fear of death when you think about it LMAO).
Anyway, Genn burns down Teldrassil but also does it in such a way that the Nelves still blame the Horde. Malfurion has an inkling that Vol’jin wasn’t behind it because he / Sylv / Saurfang show up when they get wind that this is happening and apparently it was Horde troops and the LOOK VOL’JIN WOULD GIVE SYLVANAS AND THE PANIC IN HER FACE LMAO anyway, Genn had made the mistake of capturing a druid, who quickly escaped Worgen eyes and went right to the Dreamgrove, and then immediately went to Amita to tell her what was happening, so Amita immediately goes to Darnassus and starts evacuating people and basically she barely manages to escape in her dragon form and Sylv and her Forsaken pull Amita and a lot of the civillians out of the water yaddyadda fun stuff.
Sylv immediately knows that Genn did this because he wanted an excuse for the Alliance to march on the Undercity, and yeah, kinda goes from there with Undercity plot, and Vol’jin allows Sylv to use the last of the Blight to Blight the Undercity, because there’s no way Sylv will let the Alliance take away her people’s home from them, esp not since they WERE the humans who had lived and died there.
Anyway, my BfA stuff is still kind of a mess becuase while I absolutely loathe Genn’s guts, I don’t want his decision to burn Teldrassil to be on a whim, or to seem non-tactical (personally I thought it would be interesting if Teldrassil was an inside job because then it would be taking away the Horde’s chance to turn it into a Horde stronghold, kind of like how I interpreted Sylv’s choice to Blight the Undercity as her taking away the Alliance’s chance to turn UC into an Alliance stronghold, y’know?)
ALTERNATIVELY I CAN ALWAYS THROW THE TWILIGHT’S HAMMER IN THERE BECAUSE I WANT TO GIVE THEM MORE PROMINENCE ANYWAY BECAUSE BLIZZ ALWAYS FORGETS ABOUT THEIR OTHER VILLAIN FACTIONS IN FAVOR OF RED VS BLUE FOR SOME REASON THAT I DON’T UNDERSTAND and I already have an incredibly high ranking Twilight’s Hammer lady in the works, she’s v horny and frisky all the time but she will destroy you make no mistake.
Cuz then Genn could just try to pin it on the Horde anyway, and like… what you gonna’ do bout that, it’s a fire, it will burn all the evidence anyway. Genn’s word against Vol’jin’s. Depending on who you talk to, will depend on who they’re more inclined to believe, no?
I’d go into more but it’s SO MUCH, so I’ll just list a few other things (this is only Horde side related because I STILL haven’t finished Alliance side, my apologies):
Shadra does not die.
Rezan does not die, but is out of commission for a while, therefore still allowing Zul to take over the city.
Mythrax is killed before he can destroy the third seal.
Rastakhan does not die in the Raid on Dazar’alor, for multiple reasons I won’t go into.
He does however step down as king so that he can mentor his daughter, and because he’s ready to let himself die if that ends up being the case.
Katherine and Rastakhan may or may not have a few years together before Rasta finally dies peacefully.
Probably some other things that I forgot, but before anyone comes after me about “reversing” these deaths, listen. From a story only standpoint, they are pointless. In regards to Shadra in particular, the ONLY REASON she even dies is because we, as the player character, cannot attack Yazma. You can bet your entire ass that Amita would go charging down there and bite off Yazma’s head (which is foreshadowed earlier in Amita’s story after Vol’dun stuff but I don’t want to spoil EVERYTHING haha!).
However, these deaths make some sense in regards to the way that Blizzard has plotted their dungeons / raids. They need Yazma to be empowered for a dungeon, just like they need Rezan to die for that same dungeon. Mythrax needs to break the third seal and live for the Uldir raid. Rastakhan needs to take on a deal with Bwonsamdi because there’s a whole death plot aspect thing in BfA and so Bwonsamdi needs to be in that position of power.
For Amita’s story, however, these deaths hold no merit, they DON’T need to happen. Technically you don’t need them to happen in game either, but I digress, I understand the decision that Blizzard made in regards to them even though I obviously strongly disagree with these decisions.
That’s kind of all I’ve got for now. I need to finish Alliance stuff because Amita DOES spend a lot of time on Kul Tiras as Jaina’s support, because Jaina just needs her BFF there to lean on, since going back to a family that thinks you were the cause behind your father’s death is not easy my dude.

* GETTING  TO  KNOW  THE  MUN :
NAME : Sylvéra NICKNAME : Sylvie, Sylv, Silverware x3 FACECLAIM : A wee llama. Sometimes my ‘sona. Depends lol PRONOUNS : She/her or they them...I don’t really care xD HEIGHT : 5′10″ - I am a tall lol BIRTHDAY :  October 10 AESTHETIC : Abandoned places, overgrowth, thick forest, rivers, mountains, black tea, incense, monochrome, feathers, bones, stones, metal idols...etc x3 LAST  SONG  YOU  LISTENED  TO : I Know I’m A Wolf - Young Heretics FAVOURITE  MUSE (S)  YOU’VE  WRITTEN : Oh man...don’t make me pick favorites! I’ve actually written a LOT of muses back before Tumblr, canon and original alike...but even then I’d probably still pick Ryū x3
* GETTING  TO  KNOW  THE  ACCOUNT :
WHAT  INSPIRED  YOU  TO  TAKE  ON  THIS  MUSE :
Welllll, a LONG time ago, back in like...2007? I got into Naruto, watching the dub on Youtube after class! It was a kind of escapism for me, as I was going through...a of troubles at the time. I think that, combined with my manic nature, made it a really important story to me. And like a lot of people, I wanted to make a character to sort of...play along!
...the first result was...not good xD I won’t go into details because I would DIE of shame, but...the first fandom-tied muse I made was baaad, haha! I then fell out of Naruto for a while, and left the character. But in about..2012? I think? I met my friend Lolo, and she was MAJORLY into Naruto - we met on DA when I commented on a Hinata lineart she’d colored, actually xD She got me back into the fandom, and introduced me to the idea of RP! From there, we RPed...gods, hundreds and hundreds of pages, SO many threads, and it was then I took just a few basic concepts from my OLD OC, and started over: made her almost completely anew.
It was from that Ryū was born! Or...reborn, I suppose. At first she was more of a...blank slate. No backstory, just something to build as I went. With Lolo, I gave her what’s now her A Light Amongst Shadows verse, which I also RPed with another friend on ff.net xD And then in...2015, November, Lolo suggested I make an RP blog. And now, just over two years later...here we are!
WHAT  ARE  YOUR  FAVOURITE  ASPECTS  OF  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE :
...I will admit, there’s a lot about Ryū that’s sort of like...what I wish I could be. She’s able to help people, she’s strong in her own way, and even though she has a lot to drag her down, she always gets back up. She’s always kind, empathetic, and she never gives up on people. I wish I could be one tenth the person she is. But even then, she has faults, some of which are very deep...and yet she still gets by.
I often struggle with some of my own limitations, so...as controversial as the aspect is, she’s a bit of a dream muse for me. But regardless, it’s because of her that I’ve made so many friends here, and have been able to keep going. That’s what I love about her most n_n
FAVOURITE  TYPES  OF  THREADS :
Oh gosh...I dunno if I can pick! It sort of depends on my mood? Some days I crave angst, others fluff, sometimes drama or smut or...anything! But mostly I love ones that let me dig deeper into her character. She has grown SO much during our time here - I never would have discovered many of her traits without having in-depth interactions with so many amazing muses. Ones that challenge her, and put her into new situations. And make her consider new points of view. Long threads where all the muses in it feel the effects of the story we weave!

Hello Sylv! It is! The weekend! Yesterday was a good but I am still exhausted. Having a lazy day today 😴 Do you have a favorite author? Favorite book? A favorite phanfic author maybe? I think my fav book rn is I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. I've been reading Rick Riordan's books since the 6th grade so those books & characters (Nico mostly lol) have a special place in my heart. Everyone in the phandom writes so well I couldn't choose. Don't you write? Have you ever posted anything? SA💙
thank goodness for the weekend! i should be doing my homework but the poor internet connection is making me really stressed out so i’m just chilling instead.
my favorite author is diana wynne jones! all of her books are amazing and funny and magical and i love her works so much! my favorite book is actually not by her though; it’s the miseducation of cameron post by emily m. danforth which is kind of intense in parts but i love it so much it’s so well-written and has a great plot and uggghhh i love it so much
i love everyone who writes fanfiction because they put in so much time and effort for something that they don’t make money off of! i’d have to say my favorite authors are @jilliancares and @dantiloquent though because their fics (although they do not have similar styles to one another) are sooo good! jillian posts fics really often and is always working on a chaptered fic (right now she’s working on ‘a royal pain’ which is good so far and is only going to get better) and even though most of her stuff has smut which i don’t really like the rest of them make up for that. peej (dantiloquent) has long-form fics which are long and amazing and well-written and beautiful and make me cry and are my top recs whenever someone needs fic recs.
i read i’ll give you the sun for reading bowl last year! i really liked it too and i bought a copy the next time i went to the bookstore so it’s part of my extensive shelves of books. i also have the whole percy jackson series and a few other of rick riordan’s books (the ones i could find in paperback at the bookstore i go to) in one of my bookshelves and his writing is great and funny and i love it
i do write! i’ve posted one fic but i also wrote one for a secret santa thing which i probably won’t post (it’s not very good and to post it i’d need to do some major editing so it’s less shit) and i’m working on something right now which i’m about 7k words into. i don’t write very quickly.

Actually I have some ideas (?) I wanna’ discuss-- it’s mostly Amita story stuff, but for Legion and Battle For Azeroth stuff (so I’ll put everything under a cut because... I already accidentally spoiled someone on what happens in the Zuldazar raid and like I feel horrible =_=;;; ).
But yeah it’s just points that I want to see if they make sense, because obviously Amita’s story is going to fork off completely from Legion (the biggest two factors being that Vol’jin AND Varian don’t die, because I have a really good idea for Varian that forces him off the throne and puts Anduin in his place and wow amazing it doesn’t involve his death I never knew that was possible wow).
Okay, onwards! I also apologize in advance it gets rambly and long but I have a lot of ideas and I need to make sense of them all :C
First I’ll briefly mention Warlords. I feel like Blizz wanted to put player characters into the forefront more and that’s why Vol’jin “didn’t do anything”. One major thing that happen in Lascivious Ophidian (from here on referred to as LO) is this:
Jaina and Vol’jin tag-team to kill Garrosh. This is proper poetic justice for both the Bombing of Theramore, the Divine Bell incident, the attempt on Vol’jin’s life, and the attempt to wipe out the Darkspear tribe. Remember when Vol’jin tells Garrosh that he’ll get an arrow through his black heart? Yeah.
Anyway, moving on to Legion:
Sylvanas was more than capable of taking out the fel guard before it hit Vol’jin, and so, she does (keep in mind I personally characterize Sylv as being empathetic and deeply caring - perhaps, somewhat compassionate - but she masks it all under anger and indifference. Broken Shore actually supported this and then... BfA happened smh).
Vol’jin and Varian end up fighting the fel reaver together while everyone else gets their shit together and Sylv / Jaina provide long range support, though the latter is considerably mana depleted. Vol’jin still breaks a tusk and ends up losing both.
In the retreat, both Varian and Vol’jin are injured but Vol’jin still manages to shoulder Varian anyway and carry him to Jaina, then he collapses and Sylvanas picks him up and sounds her horn to call her Val’kyr. Horde and Alliance soldiers alike then find themselves either scrabbling onto the Alliance gunship or scrabbling onto the Horde boat. Sylv and Geblin are helping to pull soldiers onto their respective ships.
Slightly off-topic, but an Alliance Paladin and Horde Death Knight (and probably a few other hero / champion aka player characters) stay behind on the shore to prevent demons from pursuing their leaders. They die, of course.
Vol’jin, being a troll, recovers from his critical injury (not sure what it is yet, but trolls are well known in lore from being able to recover from anything, plus in that short story Judgement Vol’jin regenerates his thumb). Varian, on the other hand, is not so lucky, and ends up paralyzed from the legs down. Geblin of course builds him an incredible wheelchair. He begins to mentor Anduin in kingly duties (see? Can “take him out of a story” and not kill him and still have Anduin become king and not have Anduin SHOVED into being a king. Wow. Amazing. Didn’t realize that was even remotely possible).
What events lead up to Amita actually ending up in the Dreamgrove are up in the air, but she does becomes the Archdruid of the class hall in it’s entirety (I need this to be canon to set up BfA events). Thrall also does not disappear, and instead stays at the Earthern Ring to continue mentoring shaman (and passes on the Doomhammer to another shaman as a result). I’m actually not sure if Aggra will even be IN Amita’s story, as she... is literally unimportant and has virtually no impact on Lore as it currently is, except for Thrall’s personal story (I am also Thraina trash, because have I ever told you that Thrall x Jaina was legitimately my first ship before I even knew what shipping was? Yeah. Exactly).
I have no thoughts yet on whether or not I will have Ysera still die in Amita’s story, but we’ll see. This is mostly because I’m still debating on having Amita be nightmare infected in canon (currently it’s just an AU idea I have), but either way, There Will Be A Dragon Fight.
Okay here’s perhaps the most important point. I’m still considering having Vol’jin pass on the mantle of Warchief, but it won’t be to Sylvanas. It will be to Baine - or rather, Vol’jin makes Baine acting warchief in his absence. I remember reading somewhere that the original plan for Vol’jin disappearing on BS was that he “needed to go talk to someone” and then made someone else warchief in his stead so that he could have the freedom to do that. In this case, I’m going to have Vol’jin make Baine acting warchief, and Vol’jin goes to scout out the Zandalari islands, which is where he ends up learning that Talanji and Zul have gone missing, which will of course lead to the infiltration of Stormwind yaddayaddayadda because yes Teldrassil still burns.
Okay, Battle for Azeroth:
I think everyone collectively agrees that the War of the Thorns stuff was horrible because it’s the same old story that everyone is tired of hearing. Anyway. After the Legion’s defeat, Azerite still poses a problem (resource war. I’m going for a resource war). He agrees that taking Teldrassil would be strategic, so War of the Thorns kind of proceeds as is, but he’s THERE, and lets Sylv go after Malfurion.
Horde gets Teldrassil. Baine tells Tyrande to evacuate her city because the Horde will be occupying it soon. Dead are given proper burial rites because Baine is a tauren and Saurfang is an orc and that’s honourable. When the Horde get to Teldrassil, they find siame-quashi crawling all over the place but they soon disappear into the shadows, but Baine knows his brother well enough to be aware that Vol’jin has been in Teldrassil long before they arrived.
Genn incites the burning of Teldrassil - and no, not because he’s malicious and petty but because it makes sense as a war strategy. Yes he knows people are probably going to die, but he corners a Forsaken soldier and pins it on the Horde (the Undercity will also still be blighted into oblivion, and Idk it makes sense to me for the Alliance to make a move like burning the tree if it means taking away a strong foothold from the Horde - or at least, Genn does, but no one finds out that he was the one who started it until Zuldazar Raid stuff. I’M GETTING THERE I PROMISE). Anyway, speaking of that, Vol’jin watches Genn do all of this and then of course has to book it the fuck out of there because no thank you. And he’s not sure how to process the information so he tells Baine to help evacuate the tree as much as he can before yeah they’re forced to leave (also hey the Alliance has shamans too, and if Genn mother-fucking Greymane tells you to do something I’m p sure my scared ass would listen).
Debating on if Sylv starts shooting civillians who can’t make it to the portals / are stuck due to the fires because “killing them with an arrow through the eye is more humane than letting them burn to death”. Compassion, but twisted in a sense. Horde / Alliance mages though try to teleport as many people as possible and both sides suffer some significant losses.
Instead of Legion BS being the reason Jaina becomes furious with the Horde once again, the burning of the tree is. She gets so angry (understandably, plus I can imagine her and Tyrande being rather close as some of the few female leaders in the Alliance) and it’s like an extra blow because Jaina’s already lost Theramore. So then she leaves on her little soul-searching expedition and Thrall wants to go after her but because none of them know how to bring up the news that Greymane was the one who started the fire they kinda go “well shit” and do nothing (which of course bites them in the ass).
Undercity proceeds practically identically to in-game however the comment Sylv makes to Greymane while sitting on the throne is more in-line to “oh yeah you mean the throne you abandoned when you built ur wall and let the Lordaeron citizens - who are basically the Forsaken, btw - die to the scourge you uh. You mean that throne?” obviously way more eloquently but you get the idea.
Amita is coaxed into being under human guise (and goes by the name Juliet, which is also one of Jaina’s nicknames for her) because Jaina decides that she needs the emotional support from her good friend as she goes to Kul Tiras because this has now become a resource war with both Horde and Alliance furious over losing two major important cities respectively. Horde of course infiltrates Stormwind and gets Zul and Talanji out (I’m actually not sure what happens with Saurfang but I think I can still have the event with him facing the Alliance leaders alone happen but more as a “SYLVANAS YOU NEED TO PREPARE EVEN THOUGH I DONT’ AGREE WITH WHAT YOU’VE PREPARED I’LL HOLD THEM OFF” instead of “RAGRGARGR I’M SO MAD HOW DARE U” so Baine is like “I’mma finish evacuating you get yourself ready for the confrontation”).
Lots of shit happens but I’m gonna’ skip to Rezan stuff. Mostly because Amita kills Yazma so I’m not sure how the corruption thing happens, but I’m still going to have him die (perhaps while trying to face off against Mythrax? Translating some raids / dungeons into story points is pretty tough so I haven’t really gotten to that point yet... I’m totally not avoiding it LOL). Either way, whether or not Rezan lives or dies (because that’s important to the story Blizzard wants to tell, but not important to the story I personally want to tell), something does happen that causes Rastakhan to still rapidly age (could easily be something like Bwonsamdi messing around with the connection between Rezan and Rastakhan, after all, Bwonsamdi reeeeeeeeeally wants Rast’s soul).
Oookay so... Siege of Zuldazar:
Amita is in Boralus when the Alliance is planning this. Yes amazingly still no one in the Alliance is aware of what Genn has done (lets just say that he dealt with anyone who tried to let Anduin and Varian know). She ends up ousting herself and Jaina tries to calm her but she ends up furious enough to say “if you march on Zuldazar, the Dreamgrove stands against you. Remember, I am the Archdruid now”. And then she leaves because you don’ fuck w/ a dragon.
So the Dreamgrove of course ends up sweeping into Zuldazar to stop the Alliance in their tracks, and then the Earthern Ring shows up because Thrall is like “I stand with you, Amita”. Amita’s priority is keeping Rastakhan alive so she has Hamuul and Thrall take him and his council to a safe place, and then instructs the druids and shamans to evacuate / protect the civilians, in a sort of “let the alliance and the horde come to blows, I don’t care, just get as many civilians to safety as you can” (wait.. I don’t know if I made it clear that Amita is Champions of Azeroth / Khadgar / Neutral aligned. Okay. She is. Okay back to my rambling).
Basically there are vines everywhere.
Now I still don’t know how the raid ends (like if it ends with a huge naga / old god thing or what, but I’m gonna’ tentatively roll with the idea of Azshara forces rolling in like “durrhurhurr heeellLO LANDWALKERS”), but I know how it ends in LO. Vol’jin confronts Genn in the throne room or... wherever it is that the Alliance confronts Rastakhan, and he and Genn basically have this duel where the whole time Vol’jin is like “why don’t you tell them, Genn, why don’t you tell them who REALLY burned down Teldrassil? Haven’t you told them about how you shoved a torch into the hand of dead forsaken soldier? What about those shamans that were at your side when it happened, what’s become of them?” etcetc which leads to a break in the Alliance’s resolve and they retreat out of Zuldazar because honestly Anduin doesn’t know how to handle this information and I wouldn’t blame him. Neither does Jaina.
As the Alliance is falling back, however, the naga are like “EEEEYY LANDWALKERS” and the Dreamgrove / Earthern Ring come to the rescue with Jaina and Thrall tag-teaming to beat the fuck out of either an Old God herald or a huge Naga mmyes. I will have my Thraina. And the mages show up too because Ollwen is a good friend of Amita’s and she brings the Kirin Tor to HELP. This also saves the Alliance time cuz then they just teleport all the Kul Tiras boats and shit back to Kul Tiras and... then Anduin has to confront Genn. And Tyrande can still become a night warrior lmao don’t worry (as much as I apparently... dislike her???), because even if the Horde wasn’t behind burning Teldrassil, they were still very much behind everything that led UP to burning Teldrassil.
Rastakhn therefore lives but only solely because I want to write him sucking up his pride and stepping down from the throne to let Talanji lead with him as her mentor for at least a year before he finally passes away quietly in the night. Not all deaths have to be blood and glory on the battlefield to have impact. A quiet death is just as impactful (and honestly I have some experience because of how recently I lost my grandfather. Death hits hard regardless of how it happens). So my plan is to have Rastakhan pass away quietly and Talanji goes to greet him in the morning only to come across his cold form. Yeah. The ouchies are still there.
Annnnnnnnnd we’ll see how I decide to proceed from there. Yeah. Wow thanks for reading all the way if you did LMAO?!?!!? You are literally a trooper.
I guess you can tell me your thoughts?? //cries softly.

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT THE MUN.
Repost, not reblog! Tag muns you would like to get to know better when done!
Tumblr media
Name: Sylvéra Nickname: Sylv, Sylvie, Silverware, Mom Age: 25 Faceclaim: I usually either use llama icons or my ‘sona art lol Pronouns: She/her or they/them - neutral are good, yo Height: 5′10″ - I am a tol Birthday: 10/10 CUZ I’M A PERFECT TEN *shot* Aesthetic: Old abandoned places, rivers, forests, black/greyscale, dragons, graphite, tea, owls, etc Last song you listened to: History Has Its Eyes On You (currently on repeat)
Favourite muse(s) you’ve written:
Pretty sure the last time I did this I said Ryū, sooo...we’ll shake it up a little :3 I don’t really actively RP any other characters, but I have a LOT of them, over 100, mostly for novels I’ll never write. And honestly I have so many that are just...SO much fun to write, especially the baddies like Peter and Sicarius, but also the badasses like Genowyn or Alethia. OR even softies like Cartien or Chryssy. So honestly picking favorite is hard lol
What inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on):
I mean...she was an OC I made TERRIBLY back in like...2006, maybe even earlier, I’ve lost track tbh. Naruto became my...crutch back when things were not so good in my life. I had a character I used to self-insert, to practice some good ol’ fashioned escapism. I then fell out of the fandom for a few years, then picked back up when I met Lolo and learned of RP. By then I’d done some growing in regards to writing, so...I took a few key (not stupid lol) elements from that first character, and from those bones made Ryū! She’s my precious, tortured, complicated marshmallow and I love her more than just about anything. She’s my hero tbqh.
What are your favorite aspects of your current muse:
...oh man...all of them? xD I love her unwavering kindness, her ability to look past prejudices, even her own, to do what’s right. Her unwavering stubbornness. Her naivety. Her softness. Her darker side that she tries so hard to fight back against. Her background as a whole because WOW I’ve put a lot into it. I just...I love her. She’s my waifu.
What’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing:
...I...actually don’t know. My knee-jerk reaction was to say music, and then other media. But...I just...I feel the most like me when I’m writing. It’s what I do. What I’m MEANT to do. What makes me happy. Hence why I’m here so often - I get to do what I love, with a muse I love, with PEOPLE I love. So just...the act itself, tbqh.
Favourite types of threads:
Aww, man...it depends on my mood? I love them all! I love crack, fluff, smut, drama, angst, slice of life...anything. Anything where Ryū gets to live and be written.
The biggest struggle in regards to your current muse:
...she’s...very...loud. Not her character, mind you, but...I mean TO me. She demands CONSTANT attention, and I think I’ll never be able to leave Tumblr because she’s so needy xD And what she feels, I feel JUST as strongly. She cries, I sit at my desk and cry. She’s ecstatic, I’m through the roof. She gets pissed, I’m ready to tear heads off. Does that count? xD
